On February 25 and 26, 2026, RailCampus OWL hosted the “SpringEvent” and the “Future Rail Forum.” Around 100 experts from business, science, and practice gathered at the DZM location in Minden to discuss innovative approaches to networked mobility, digital interfaces, and intelligent transport chains. We from the C2CBridge team were also there.
The focus was on technologies that strengthen rail as a cornerstone of multimodal transport systems – from autonomous operating concepts and data-based maintenance concepts to new approaches for passenger and freight transport – especially with regard to the requirements of rural regions.
The two events made it clear that rail can only fully develop its central role in future transport networks if technological innovations, digital transparency, and intermodal cooperation are consistently brought together.
