Focus on the future of autonomous and connected driving
As part of TACHELES 2026, experts from the fields of research, business, and politics gathered on May 7 and 8, 2026, at the CyberForum and the Smart Production Park in Karlsruhe to discuss current developments and future prospects for autonomous and connected driving. The event was organized by the FZI Research Center for Information Technology, and we were on site with one of our two C2CBridge vehicles to present our work.
The conference also offered a varied program featuring expert presentations, interactive workshops, and open discussion sessions. The focus was on key issues surrounding technological innovations, the further development of mobility, and the framework conditions for the successful introduction of autonomous vehicles.
The program was complemented by presentations on other current research and innovation projects that are providing new impetus for the mobility of the future. The in-depth professional exchange and numerous networking opportunities once again made the event an important platform for knowledge transfer and networking.
TACHELES 2026 has once again demonstrated how important collaboration between research, industry, and the public sector is for actively shaping the future of autonomous and connected mobility. We would like to thank everyone involved whose dedication contributed to the event’s success.
